Accounts Assistant / Financial Accountant Job Opportunity
The Finance Office is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant / Financial Accountant to support the team with various financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent accounting skills and a thorough working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
1. Job Responsibilities:
o Work closely with the Finance Office Manager to ensure timely office management and task completion.
o Manage accounts payable and receivable invoices.
o Paying invoices, verifying goods received, and reconciling bank accounts.
o Credit management, reports payments, and queries.
o Primary point of contact for AP and AR queries.
o Month-end/year-end reporting and costing reporting.
o Updating databases with relevant information and generating internal reports.
o Intrasat, VAT & VIES Revenue reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent accounting and numerical skills.
* Accounting Technician or Qualified accountant with Irish experience.
* Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Excel formulas.
* Thorough working knowledge of Sage 50 accounting package.
* Experience in accounts reconciliations.
* Ability to build good relationships with customers.
* Knowledge of RCT/CIS.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to motivate and prioritize tasks effectively.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
