What You'll Do
As Compliance Manager, you will:
* Design and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive compliance framework that addresses key regulatory obligations and ensures ongoing alignment with evolving legal requirements.
* Manage the continuous development, rollout, and maintenance of compliance codes of conduct, policies, and procedures tailored to support business objectives across all operational areas.
* Conduct thorough compliance risk assessments covering areas such as anti-bribery and corruption, fraud prevention, and other relevant domains to proactively identify potential risks.
* Monitor and maintain detailed compliance registers including those for gifts and hospitality, conflicts of interest, donations, and sponsorships to ensure transparency and accountability.
* Provide expert advice on third-party onboarding processes by conducting due diligence reviews and assisting in preparing responses for clients or external parties as required.
* Support business growth initiatives by identifying emerging compliance risks associated with new ventures or expansion activities.
* Develop engaging training materials on compliance topics; deliver training sessions to employees at all levels while communicating updates on emerging issues effectively.
* Oversee the speak-up process by managing investigations into reported compliance concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.
* Prepare regular reports for senior leadership and provide assurance to the board regarding the status of compliance-related matters across the organisation.
* Stay abreast of regulatory changes through horizon scanning activities; support front-line operations during regulatory reviews or investigations by providing practical guidance.
