Are you ready to take on a commercially focused role within our dynamic finance team? Join us as a Commercial Administrator and help support our freight processes from pickup to delivery, ensuring top-notch service for our customers.
What will you be doing?
1. Preparing and completing commercial spot quotes promptly.
2. Managing the commercial aspects of client accounts.
3. Collaborating with the internal finance billing team to ensure agreed rates are applied.
4. Querying and following up on incoming cost issues.
5. Working with overseas offices to obtain rate requests.
6. Challenging vendors and internal teams for the best rates and cost reductions.
7. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external parties to retain current and future business.
About You
1. Background in logistics, air, sea, or land freight would be highly advantageous.
2. Commercial acumen.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills.
4. High attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
5. Proficient in Excel.
6. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage high workloads.
