Department: eCommerce & Logistics
About Us
At Paul Byron Shoes, we've built our brand on delivering quality footwear, outstanding customer service, and seamless shopping experiences across our store network and expanding online channels. As we scale our digital footprint, we're seeking an organised and proactive Fulfilment Floor Manager to join our eCommerce team and ensure our warehouse operations are optimised for accuracy, efficiency, and growth.
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented eCommerce Fulfilment Floor Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Webshop fulfilment centre. You will lead our warehouse team in efficiently processing online and in-store orders, maintaining accurate stock levels, and ensuring the smooth implementation of operational enhancements set by the eCommerce Operations Manager. This role is pivotal to delivering an exceptional customer experience, from order confirmation to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations & Fulfilment
* Oversee the accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatch of customer orders across all digital and retail channels.
* Manage inbound and outbound stock movements, store transfers, returns processing, and fault item handling.
* Ensure all goods are handled, stored, and dispatched in line with company and Health & Safety standards.
* Lead the warehouse team by setting clear expectations, assigning tasks, and providing day-to-day support and direction.
* Organise staff rotas and ensure appropriate resource planning for peak periods and promotions.
* Provide hands-on training, performance coaching, and support to build a highly motivated and capable team.
Process Improvement
* Implement and monitor new workflows and procedures as directed by the eCommerce Operations Manager.
* Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or risks in daily processes and escalate issues promptly with proposed solutions.
Inventory Control
* Maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management or inventory systems.
* Conduct regular stock takes, cycle counts, and spot checks to ensure inventory integrity across all channels.
* Liaise with merchandising and store teams to resolve stock discrepancies.
Compliance & Reporting
* Uphold Health & Safety and housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse floor.
* Ensure daily compliance checks, logs, and reports are completed and submitted accurately.
* Support the rollout of new systems, technology, and process updates by providing training and enforcing adherence.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or eCommerce fulfilment supervisory role, ideally in retail or fashion.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills with a strong eye for detail.
* Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and drive team performance.
* Proficient in stock control systems and confident using computers and handheld devices for warehouse operations.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment.
* Strong understanding of warehouse Health & Safety and manual handling practices.
What We Offer
* A supportive team culture that values initiative and ownership.
* Opportunities for training, growth, and advancement within the eCommerce and retail operations team.
* Staff discount and perks within the Paul Byron Shoes brand family.
