Job Title: Bus Fleet Operator
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our fleet team as a Fleet Operator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a leading organisation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Refuel and check oil, water, and fluid levels on all vehicle types
* Wash, clean, and present vehicles to company standards
* Carry out shunting and vehicle movements as required
* Perform light maintenance tasks under the supervision of a Foreman or Team Leader
Working Hours & Shift Patterns
We offer a flexible and varied working schedule designed to meet operational needs while supporting work-life balance. Most Fleet Operators work Monday to Friday, 8:00-16:00 Some locations operate night shifts and weekend rotations One site follows a 4 days on / 3 days off roster with 10-hour shifts Overall, it's a 39-hour working week, though shift patterns vary depending on location and current requirements
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Previous experience in a vehicle, fleet, or depot maintenance environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices
* Good teamwork, communication, and reliability
* Willingness to learn and support various workshop activities
Desirable (Not Essential):
* Category D (Bus) Licence - an advantage but not required
* Basic mechanical or technical knowledge
* Experience in transport, logistics, or workshop operations
