Scope of the Role
We are looking for a Fire Protection Supervisor to join our Sustaining department within our Fire Protection division.
Operative will drive or partner in a Sustaining works Van.
This role will be mostly based in the Dublin, Leinster region pending availability of work.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
* Experience in installation of various Sprinkler systems
* Planning and executing small to medium sized jobs which involves interfacing with clients.
* Surveying works and Co-ordinating with design team
* Flexible to travel around the country.
* Knowledge in all types of sprinkler systems.
* Able to work on own initiative
* Full drivers' licence. (optional).
* Liaise and build relationships with clients.
* Competent in draining / refilling sprinkler systems.
* Competent in operating fire pumps / related fire alarms
* Planning and working from sprinkler drawings.
* Knowledge in LPC and FM sprinkler rules.
Essential Criteria for the Role:
* Safe Pass / manual handling
* Experienced sprinkler pipefitters
* Flexible to travel
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline.
* National Craft Certificate
Desirable Criteria:
* Previous experience in role or a willingness
* Ability to manage a job to completion / attend white board meetings.
* Flexible for outside of normal working hours.
* A construction background.
