Cork University Business School is seeking a dynamic professional to join its team as an Agriculture and Farm Management Professional. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the expanding agri-food systems research community. As part of this role, you will be responsible for teaching programmes in agriculture and agrifood business, with a focus on farm business appraisal and management in the Irish context.
Main Responsibilities
* To teach modules in agriculture and agrifood business to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
* To conduct research in farm management, agribusiness, and agricultural economics, with a focus on the Irish context.
* To contribute to multidisciplinary research teams and publish in leading international journals.
* To develop and advance their research portfolio, with a particular emphasis on farm management and agribusiness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Ph.D. in a relevant field such as agricultural economics, agribusiness management, or related fields.
* A strong track record of relevant research and education in farm management, agribusiness, and agricultural economics.
* The ability to teach effectively to students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
* An ongoing commitment to publishing in leading international journals.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary research team.
