 
        
        Project Lead - Electrical Projects
Lead and deliver electrical projects from concept to completion.
The role involves full project ownership, encompassing planning, procurement, client liaison, and final handover. This ensures timely delivery, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
 * Plan, organize and lead all phases of electrical construction projects.
 * Manage project start-up, including staffing, cost plans, procurement, and scheduling.
 * Develop and implement safety, quality and environmental plans.
 * Oversee subcontractor mobilisation, site activities and progress control.
 * Lead EHS and QA/QC audits, reporting and toolbox talks.
 * Chair client and subcontractor meetings, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
 * Maintain cost control, cash flow and project progress reports in collaboration with the QS.
 * Manage testing, commissioning, handover and final accounts.
 * Produce and present monthly reports and close out documentation.
 * Build and maintain strong client relationships from project start to completion.
Requirements for this position are:
 * Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, or a strong electrical trades background.
 * Proven experience in Substation, High Voltage and Medium Voltage projects.
 * Strong leadership and team management skills across multi-disciplinary project teams.
 * Excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills.
 * Strong IT proficiency (reports, presentations, project tracking tools).
 * Ability to travel between project locations across the UK.
 * Solution-focused, proactive and capable of working independently.
