ResponsibilitiesTo manage and deliver on various Engineering projectsWork closely with and keep all stakeholders updated on all project progress and any issues arisingResolve engineering problems by collecting information, researching & analysing, recommending solutions, preparing drawings, schematics, and diagrams, evaluating components, materials and suppliers, developing specifications and safety standards, evaluating new equipment and techniques and overseeing installationsOrganise and co-ordinate suitable internal teams and 3rd party labour for execution of projects to a high standard, ensuring that all parties adhere to the overall project plan throughout the project lifecycleMaintain project team accomplishments by communicating essential information, coordinating actions, obtaining expert input, reviewing open issues and action items, contributing information to team meetings and reportsWork closely with the various sites in the group to ensure projects are implemented, as quickly and efficiently as possible, with minimal disruption to productionSourcing of parts, liaising and negotiating with suppliers, following up on parts deliveries and overseeing that incoming parts are actioned as soon as possible when deliveredAssisting with engineering budgeting and cost analysisThis is not an exhaustive list and is subject to change and amendmentQualificationsDegree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalentProject Management experienceSeveral years of industry experience in a similar roleA sound mechanical and electrical knowledge of equipment and processesPrevious experience in water treatment or automation would be preferrable, but not essentialRequired SkillsAbility to analyse situations and troubleshoot/problem solve as requiredGood verbal and written communication skillsA high level of technical abilityExcellent attention to detailCompetent in the use of technology with good IT skills, Excel and AutoCAD are essentialOrganisational skills having the ability to manage conflicting prioritiesEnthusiastic and flexible team player with high expectations of self and othersAble to work under pressure and on own initiativeConstantly striving to enhance and improve existing processes to add valueFlexibility and have the ability to adapt quickly and positively to changeA willingness to travel when required
