Opalus Healthcare is currently recruiting Consultant Gastroenterologists / General Medicine for locum and standalone positions across hospitals in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology care, managing a broad range of GI and liver conditions.
* Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy within the Endoscopy Unit.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and nursing staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
* Participate in on-call duties for gastroenterology and acute general medicine as required.
* Support education and training for junior doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, while maintaining ongoing CPD and adherence to professional standards.
Requirements
* Full registration with the
Irish Medical Council (IMC)
in the
Specialist Division.
* Experience working in Ireland or the UK.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland (Irish/EU/UK passport or Stamp 4).
