Job Description
We are seeking a Sales Executive to join our trade counter team. As the main point of contact for all customer collections and walk-ins, you will provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and via email. Your key responsibilities will include processing sales orders, dispatch notes, invoices, and related documentation using internal systems. You will also maintain accurate daily reports, manage admin tasks such as POD folders and order tracking, support customer accounts, run monthly trade counter promotions to drive sales and customer engagement, assist with hire sales and returns, stock returns, and liaise with the purchasing team to manage inventory levels. Additionally, you will build relationships with local contractors and walk-in customers to grow the customer base.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need 1+ years' experience in an administrative role, with trade counter or building materials experience being advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be dealing with customers face-to-face daily. You will also need to be comfortable using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive individuals are preferred, and friendly, personable, and eager to contribute to a close-knit, high-performing team.
