Healthcare Assistants – Dublin City Centre

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support hospitals and long-term care facilities throughout Dublin City Centre. With a variety of shifts available, you can work full-time, part-time, or choose flexible hours that suit your lifestyle.
Position: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible
Location: Dublin City Centre
Duties as a Healthcare Assistant:
1. Provide high-quality, person-focused care to patients and residents.
2. Assist with daily living activities and personal care in a respectful and supportive manner.
3. Work closely with nursing staff to ensure a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment.
4. Carry out assigned duties independently or as part of a wider care team.
Qualifications of a Healthcare Assistant:
5. QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (including Care Skills and Care of the Elderly).
6. Up-to-date certificates in: Patient Moving & Handling, Infection Prevention & Control, and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults (completed within the last 18 months).
7. Two recent, contactable references.
8. Strong understanding of HIQA standards and good care practice.
9. Must be currently based in Ireland with full permission to work.
