Following several successful projects and expansion in Dublin, my client is seeking to recruit several Service Technicians to join their Dublin team. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include servicing and maintaining CCTV, intruder alarm, and access control systems; troubleshooting technical issues; and providing outstanding on-site support and training to clients to deliver a high standard of customer service. Main responsibilities include: Maintain intruder alarms, access control, and video surveillance equipment across different client locations. Troubleshoot issues and provide initial support for security system problems. Perform both scheduled and emergency maintenance, along with installations as needed. Use the PDA system to respond to maintenance requests and service calls, working collaboratively with the Service Manager and Service Desk Coordinators. Oversee van inventory, tools, and safety gear to ensure readiness for each job. Consistently meet Health, Safety, and Quality regulations. Take part in the on-call rota when necessary. Keep detailed records and documentation of all service activities. The ideal candidate will have the following: Strong technical understanding of intruder alarms, access control, and video surveillance systems (such as Pacom, Hikvision, HKC, Galaxy). Experience working with IP-based systems and solid troubleshooting abilities. Proven experience in the security, fire, or communications field. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Demonstrates professionalism, organisation, and independent work under pressure. Familiarity with PDA systems and basic administrative tasks. Eager to learn new technologies and industry developments. Possesses a full driving license.
