About Your New Job Engineering Leadership: Provide engineering leadership, oversight on design and development of Middleware products and services. System Architecture: Design, engineer, and develop Middleware solutions based on system architecture, compatibility of system components, project requirements, and customer expectations. Documentation: Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information. Platform Management: Install, upgrade, and support Middleware software products on various platforms (Linux/VMs, K8s, public cloud). Automation: Manage design and implementation of automated solutions to deploy, govern, and monitor API gateway platforms. Site Reliability Engineering: Develop strategies for continuing improvements in platform resilience and reliability with a focus on performance indicators. What Skills You Need Experience: 5+ years of experience implementing and/or supporting middleware, infrastructure products, and/or application environments on Linux, Windows, and/or Unix platforms. Technical Skills: Proficiency in bash scripting, ansible or terraform for containerization, Kubernetes, EKS or OpenShift, integration and/or SOA technologies, caching solutions like Redis Enterprise, and API Gateways such as AWS API Gateway, Kong Gateway or Gloo. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Additional Skills: Experience with monitoring suites, troubleshooting, scripting knowledge (python, perl, Ansible), and Level III support for Middleware Products.
