The Role
Position: Planner – REF: 2515
The Planner will work with project delivery teams across all areas of our business. The role includes coordinating with project teams to determine legislative requirements and managing planning processes and consents.
Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate with project teams to determine legislative requirements for new projects (Planning, Fire Safety Certificate, Disability Access Certificate, consents, BCAR, etc.).
* Environmental screening and coordination of inputs such as engineers' reports and third-party assessments.
* Stakeholder management.
* Obtaining consents.
* Planning process management including pre-planning, applications, responses to RFIs and addressing objections or appeals.
* Management of FW processes, templates, and training within the area of legislative compliance.
The successful applicant will receive guidance and training on our approach to Legislative Compliance in parallel with project work.
The role is based in our Cork office, with consideration for applicants for Galway or Portlaoise offices.
Requirements
The Candidate…
The ideal candidate will have:
* A relevant qualification in Planning, Development and Environment and/or commensurate industry experience with an alternative qualification.
* Other relevant qualifications related to the company’s field of work may be considered.
* 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
* Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
