Due to continued growth and a significant pipeline of work, we are recruiting a Field Service Electrician / Door Installation Engineer to join our experienced team working on our sites throughout Ireland
Responsibilities
Working as part of a team
Ability to work on ones own initiative
Clear communication skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Reporting progress on site and complete reports on our field management software
Good record keeping
Experience within commercial/ industrial construction sectors
Must have a sound understanding of electrical standards and requirements relating to circuit design, inspection, testing, and certification.
A working knowledge of the electrical principles associated with the commissioning and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
Fault diagnosis and rectification experience in a field service environment
Running and terminating cables in a neat fashion
Mechanical works experience - advantageous
Provide preventative maintenance on products
Provide on-site training on products and applications for customers as required.
Working to deadlines
Requirements
Must have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship and be fully qualified.
RECI Certified would be advantageous
Full clean drivers license
Safepass / Manual Handling
IPat would be advantageous
You will be directly working with the Contracts manager
We are a nimble company with no two days ever the same, to help maintain this we are looking for the right person to join our team to contribute to this important area in our business.
Min 3 years experience in the construction industry and relevant educational qualification and must be permitted to work in Ireland .
