Job Description
Responsibilities
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department. You can register your interest by selecting the ‘Register your interest’ button or you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre. Duties will include:
* Taking bookings, diary management and scheduling in line with Sponsoring Committee directives
* Handling post and all other correspondence (emails etc.). Relaying messages as appropriate
* Allocating wifi usage for service users. Logging same
* Dealing with members of the public – answering the phone, making calls as directed by the Sponsoring Committee
* Provision of clerical and administrative services to users of the Heritage Centre – Sponsoring Committee, secondary school (students 12-18 years) etc.
* Research assisting in the tracing of ancestral records, local history etc.
* Photocopying of historical data for research
* Printing documents for secondary school students (12-18 years) research projects on a regular basis from 1-2 up to 10 requests per week
