Narratology are currently supporting our leading insurance broker client in appointing a key hire to their senior management team - the Corporate Sales and Strategy Director will be accountable for developing and leading on the corporate growth strategy for the company, aligned to its overall business strategy, and will work closely with peers to ensure that it is implemented and delivered upon.
The Corporate Sales and Strategy Director will provide structure to new business development through creation of a prospecting pipeline and will maximise retention and conversion by supporting client managers on specific large or complex new and existing cases regarding markets, pricing and approach.
As with any leadership role, the successful candidate will work closely with Director colleagues to drive forward best practice and continuous improvement throughout the organisation, so that the company consistently delivers the first class service it is known for.
Applicants will possess the following skills and experience: Significant experience operating at Director or Senior Manager level within corporate or commercial insurance broking.
Solid knowledge on the Northern Irish Insurance Market and the opportunities within it.
A reputation for delivering subject matter expertise and sound client advice to board level decision makers in corporate level accounts.
Demonstrable success in developing relationships with clients and Key Business Introducers to achieve commercial objectives.
A track record in setting and achieving new business revenue targets.
Previous experience of creating and successfully implementing business development strategies.
