Reperio has partnered with a world leader in the cloud-based AI Platforms space who are looking for a Staff Systems Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
1. Build internal tools using Python or Golang.
2. Automate systems with Puppet and Ansible.
3. Manage critical services like DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.
4. Maintain large-scale hybrid cloud infrastructure (bare metal + VMs).
5. Use "infrastructure as code" practices.
6. Write and automate test plans for infrastructure.
7. Create workflows in ServiceNow.
8. Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies.
9. Lead VM migration projects (., VMware to OpenStack).
Requirements:
10. Experience applying AI to workflows or decision-making.
11. Strong background in managing Linux servers at scale.
12. Expertise with OpenStack, especially RedHat version.
13. Proven skills in VM migration and cloud platforms.
14. Proficiency in Python or Golang for automation.
15. Deep knowledge of core systems services (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, networking).
16. Ability to write clear architecture documentation.
17. Collaborative coding skills, including testing and debugging.
18. Familiarity with open-source DevOps tools.
19. Strong problem-solving and system-level troubleshooting skills.
