Finance Manager Property Investment & Management Position Description 12-month, Fixed-term maternity cover contract with an institutionally backed residential property investment company. Even through just a one-year contract, this role presents an opportunity to springboard a career gaining exposure to a very senior and talented executive management team and gaining significant exposure to financial management within the property sector, taking on meaningful responsibility across reporting and financial operations and playing a key role in investor reporting. A hands-on, high-impact role, reporting to the MD, involving: Oversight of financial operations of a property and asset management portfolio Monthly and quarterly reporting cycles - quarterly management and KPI reporting, monthly reporting pack preparation Coordinating annual budgets, insurance renewals, external audits and property valuations Cash flow management and forecasting, budgeting, with variance analysis Loan administration Reviewing AP and approving weekly tenant deposit returns Investor reporting Audit, financial statement and statutory reporting Maintaining and enhancing internal controls, reporting frameworks and improving financial processes Stakeholder management - internal management and external stakeholders (to include equity and debt funders). Supporting the MD in fundraising activities and ongoing management of equity and debt relationships Candidate Background Ideal candidate will have the following background: Qualified Accountant, with min. 3 years relevant PQE Strong academic track record Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise Experience in real estate, property finance or asset management an advantage Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills Excellent communication skills Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple reporting cycles Proven ability to manage team members About Our Client Our client is an institutionally backed residential property investment company with HQ in the heart of the City Centre.
