Chief Financial Strategist
This senior leadership role will drive financial operations and improve performance by providing strategic advice and support to the Managing Director and Boards.
Duties:
* Collaborate with senior management to formulate and implement business strategies, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
* Oversee daily financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and compliance with standards, leveraging technology for enhanced efficiency.
* Maintain robust financial controls and systems, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
* Ensure regulatory and tax compliance, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
* Assess and mitigate financial risks, maintaining a proactive and dynamic approach to risk management.
* Maintain capital requirements and audit readiness, guaranteeing uninterrupted operations and compliance.
* Analyze financial performance, identifying areas for growth and improvement, and driving continuous innovation.
* Prepare budgets and forecasts for the Board, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
* Benchmark performance, providing data-driven analysis and expert advice to inform key decisions.
* Leverage technology to enhance forecasting and reporting, unlocking new levels of efficiency and accuracy.
* Lead strategic financial projects and cross-functional initiatives, fostering collaboration and driving results-oriented outcomes.
* Manage relationships with stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and legal firms, maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise.
Requirements:

* Minimum 20 years PQE in senior finance roles within Asset Management or Insurance sectors, with a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.
* Commercial awareness and experience in implementing business strategies, with a focus on growth, innovation, and sustainability.
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, with a strong foundation in financial planning, analysis, and accounting.
* Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and accounting, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision.
* Technologically savvy, with experience in BI and analytics, and a commitment to harnessing the power of technology to drive business success.
* Successful track record in transformational projects, with a talent for navigating complex change initiatives and delivering results-oriented outcomes.
* Strong regulatory knowledge (UCITS, AIFMD, etc.), with a deep understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
