Business Sales Development Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Sales Development Manager to join our client, a leading Food Manufacturer based in Co. Louth. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for driving business growth in the Dublin and Leinster areas.
In this exciting new role, you will lead a team of van drivers and distributors, expanding the company's presence within the food industry.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute sales strategies that exceed targets.
* Analyse sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
* Lead, coach, and support van-sales and distribution teams to achieve performance goals.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients.
* Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
* Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvements.
* Collaborate with marketing on promotional campaigns and lead generation.
* Represent the brand at events and networking opportunities.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of proven success in sales or business development, ideally in fresh food.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
* Skilled in data analysis and report creation using computer tools.
* Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
* Passion for the baked goods industry and market knowledge.
* Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
* Full, clean driving licence.
