Our client is heavily involved in the deign and construction delivery of data centers internationally.
They requite a contracts Manager/Director to manage administer and protecting the company's contractual position across Design & Build construction projects from
pre-contract and design development through to project completion and final account
.
The role focuses on
risk management, contract administration, claims avoidance/resolution, and commercial governance
under standard forms of contract including
FIDIC, NEC, and bespoke amendments
.
This role suits professionals from
Quantity Surveying, commercial management, or construction law backgrounds
who have developed deep expertise in construction contracts rather than pure cost management. Experience in Europe essential and experience internationally would be an advantage
Salary and conditions are highly negotiable for the right candidate with the appropriate experience and ambition/drive.

Essential
* Strong experience working with
main contractors/clients
on
Design & Build construction projects
* Proven expertise in
construction contract management
rather than pure cost control
* Hands-on experience administering contracts under:
* FIDIC
(Red, Yellow, Silver Books)
* NEC
(ECC, especially Option C/E)
Skills & Attributes
* Expert knowledge of construction contracts and contract strategy
* Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Commercially astute with a risk-focused mindset
* Able to operate confidently across multiple European jurisdictions
* Clear communicator with the ability to influence senior project stakeholders
* Comfortable working on complex, high-value projects
Travel & Working Environment
* Project-based role with
regular travel across Europe
* Ability to work on site and from regional offices as required
