Overview
A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer for a large-scale multi-million euro healthcare project in Waterford. The project involves a multi-storey extension onto an existing healthcare facility, as well as substations, pumping stations, generator buildings and associated site development works. The company has a substantial pipeline of work in the Southeast, promising long-term opportunities. The role reports directly into senior management and supports progression to the next level.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day on-site operations, ensuring project progression in line with agreed timelines.
* Collaborate with the project management team to deliver the project within budget and schedule.
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
* Mentor and support junior engineers on site.
Qualifications
* Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role with an Irish Main Contractor
* Strong experience in managing large-scale projects, particularly within healthcare or similar sectors
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
The Package
An excellent package is available, with a basic salary of approximately €70,000 - €80,000 plus vehicle, fuel and matched pension.
