Job Title: Strategic Program Leader
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Professional to lead a key transformation project within a major IT programme.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to motivate teams and engage stakeholders effectively.
* Lead cross-functional teams across architecture, business analysis, software engineering, testing, and release management.
* Define project scope, governance, budget, resources, and delivery plans.
* Develop and manage schedules, work breakdown structures, and risk registers.
* Provide regular progress updates at steering meetings.
* Identify and resolve issues, implementing corrective actions where needed.
* Manage third-party vendors to deliver against project expectations.
* Oversee testing, business readiness, and smooth transition to production.
Requirements:
* 7+ years' experience in leading large-scale transformation projects.
* Proven track record in financial services, insurance, or similar regulated industries.
* Strong knowledge of end-to-end project management processes.
* Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
* Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM or equivalent).
