Development Manager Role Overview

We seek an experienced professional to shape the future of housing in Ireland, overseeing the development life-cycle from site acquisition and planning to construction completion and handover.
The successful candidate will drive new development opportunities, formulate a development programme, and establish strong relationships with external stakeholders to secure financially viable business opportunities.
Essential Qualifications:
* Relevant third-level qualification in Real Estate or Property Management
* Proven development/project management experience necessary
* Strong understanding of residential housing landscapes in Dublin and relevant government policies
* Excellent knowledge of planning and development regulations
* Experience in securing funding and managing project budgets
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in MS Project
* Prioritization of social housing development and commitment to creating positive social impact
Responsibilities:
* Identify potential development sites in Dublin aligning with company objectives
* Lead pre-planning process, liaising with architects, engineers, and local authorities
* Manage project budgets and secure funding from public and private sources
* Oversee design and construction phases ensuring compliance with social housing standards and sustainability best practices
* Manage key stakeholder relationships
* Ensure adherence to social value principles
* Monitor project progress and implement solutions to maintain time-lines and budgets
* Prepare comprehensive reports on project progress and performance
* Contribute to the development of the company's social housing strategy
This role is based in Dublin and may involve national travel for site visits and meetings.
