My client is a well-established and globally recognised manufacturing business with a strong reputation for engineering excellence and operational quality. With a supportive and purpose-driven culture, they are currently seeking to appoint a Production Control Coordinator to join their team in a key operational role in Kingscourt. The hours are Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm, and on Friday's the hours are 8am-2pm.

Responsibilities will include –
1. Supporting and maintaining production control processes aligned with business goals and quality standards.
2. Assisting in the upkeep and coordination of production scheduling systems, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
3. Collaborating with leadership to monitor and identify trends or issues requiring escalation or intervention.
4. Facilitating cross-functional communication during the rollout of process improvements (., Engineering Change Orders, Production Change Requests).
5. Supporting S&OP planning including forecast entry, sales order updates, and technical specification changes.
6. Sharing responsibility for inventory management and reporting with the Production Controller.
7. Liaising with customers and suppliers, including participation in global coordination meetings.
8. Preparing weekly and monthly data reports to inform key stakeholders and support decision-making.
9. Participating in 5S audits and steel stock audits to promote and maintain operational excellence.
10. Deputising for the Production Controller in meetings or where required.
11. Attending and contributing to "clear to build" meetings with cross-functional teams across design, purchasing, and engineering.
12. Providing administrative support in Health & Safety processes alongside the Senior HSE Advisor.
Requirements –
13. Previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
14. Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach to tasks.
15. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
16. Solutions-oriented, with confidence to take initiative and problem-solve.
17. Competence in managing systems and data—accurate entry and interpretation is essential.
18. Experience liaising across departments and coordinating on projects or process changes.
19. Willingness to learn and contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and safety-focused workplace.
