Warehouse Operations Manager
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our warehouse operations, driving efficiency and productivity across our distribution centre. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in team management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Spearhead the daily activities of warehouse personnel, ensuring seamless execution of receiving, replenishing, and storing products.
* Coordinate the loading and unloading of inventory, including all warehouse functions, receivers, and forklift operators.
* Maintain relationships with internal and external logistics partners to guarantee timely shipments to customers.
* Liaise with relevant departments and senior management to optimize container scheduling and workload allocation.
* Ensure accurate labeling, tracking, and storage of inbound items.
* Monitor stock levels, performing regular checks and counts to maintain accuracy.
* Collaborate with the Stock Controller to ensure up-to-date stock inventory and locations on the company's internal software system.
* Develop direct reports to achieve business goals and objectives.
* Facilitate effective communication across the warehouse department and with management team members.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in team leading or people management is required. Previous experience in warehouse management is advantageous. Strong organizational and self-management skills, along with excellent communication abilities, are essential. Proven IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, are necessary for managing stock control systems.
