Our client is seeking a dedicated
IT Systems Administrator
to manage and support IT operations across their Irish business.
The role involves ensuring the reliability and security of IT systems, supporting employees with day-to-day technology needs, and aligning local IT practices with global company standards.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with global IT teams.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day IT operations for employees in Ireland.
Maintain and configure user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Procure, set up, and deploy PCs, laptops, and mobile devices.
Install, update, and manage software applications.
Administer servers, network devices, and connected equipment.
Provide timely end-user support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
Support and maintain office IT hardware, including printers and video conferencing systems.
Ensure data security and availability through backups and adherence to security best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in
Information Technology
, Computer Science, or a related field.
Previous experience in IT systems administration, ideally supporting both users and infrastructure.
Good understanding of core IT concepts such as networking, operating systems, and user account management.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a wider IT function.
Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.
