Job Title: Stock Allocator (On-Site) Location: Paul Byron Head Office, Roscommon Town.
Salary: DOE Reporting to: Stock Control Manager Role Overview We are looking for a highly organised and analytical Stock Allocator to support the management of stock across our retail stores and e-commerce channels.
This is a data-driven, Excel-focused role where you will play a key part in ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
You will work closely with Buying, Warehouse and Stores, directly impacting availability, sales and overall stock performance.
This role would suit someone with strong Excel skills who enjoys working with data, solving problems and wants to develop further within stock control or merchandising.
Key Responsibilities Stock Allocation Replenishment Run daily and weekly replenishment to stores Allocate stock across retail and online channels Ensure strong availability of key products Stock Transfers Movement Manage transfers between warehouse and stores Coordinate store-to-store transfers Action stock requests in line with guidelines Stock Monitoring Monitor stock levels across all locations Identify low stock, overstock and availability issues Highlight risks and opportunities System Data Management Maintain min/max stock levels Ensure accurate system data to support replenishment Intake Support Support allocation of incoming deliveries Ensure stock is distributed efficiently Reporting Analysis Run stock and sales reports Use Excel to analyse data and identify trends Work confidently with large datasets Stock Take Support Assist with stock takes Support variance reporting and adjustments Skills Experience Strong Excel skills (essential) - including formulas, pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP Experience working with stock or inventory management systems Strong numerical and analytical ability High attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with large datasets Good organisational and time management skills Strong communication skills Experience with Fashion Master or a similar stock control system is an advantage.
Previous experience in retail, stock control, merchandising or a similar analytical role is beneficial.
