About the Role
As an Associate Claims Examiner, you'll join a collaborative, fast-paced team where no two days are the same.
You'll develop hands-on expertise in evaluating and resolving commercial insurance claims under the guidance of experienced Claims Supervisors.

What You'll Do
Managing a desk of low-to-moderately complex Property and Liability claims under the supervision of a Claims Supervisor.
Conducting thorough investigations throughout all stages of the claims process.
Evaluating coverage and drafting clear, accurate correspondence to policyholders.
Communicating proactively with policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders to keep all parties informed on claim status.
Determining liability, assessing exposure, and negotiating claims through to resolution.
Maintaining accurate, organized documentation and records in each claim file.
Driving claims toward timely and effective resolution with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
What You Bring
Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or relevant experience in the insurance industry.
Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a high-volume claims desk.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Strong negotiation skills and experience directing investigations are a plus.
