A well-backed and fast-growing renewable energy and infrastructure group is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its expanding finance team. The business operates large-scale assets across Ireland and the UK and is currently in a significant growth phase, with major projects under construction and a strong future development pipeline.

Due to expansion over the past 12 months, the Group is adding a
Senior Commercial Financial Accountant
to its finance function. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role will take ownership of financial reporting for a defined portfolio of group entities, while also leading the annual audit and budgeting processes at Group level.
Responsibilities:
* Manage AP, AR, intercompany and related transactions.
* Own month-end and year-end close processes, from journals through to management accounts and variance analysis.
* Prepare statutory financial statements in line with GAAP.
* Maintain ledger integrity, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany balances.
* Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across the Group.
* Maintain and update cashflow models to support working capital and funding requirements.
* Manage funding drawdowns and cash extraction processes as required.
Experience:
* Qualified accountant with 5-7 years' post-qualification experience.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
* High integrity, proactive approach, and collaborative mindset.
