We are hiring a Basic Grade Medical Scientist - Biochemistry (12 Month FTC) for a leading Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
* Help with the creation, upkeep, and enforcement of protocols about every section of the lab and the associated testing apparatus.
* As decided by the laboratory manager and chief medical scientist, conduct scientific activity in accordance with the necessary JCI Accreditation Standards.
* Achieve compliance with INAB Accreditation standards and the E.U. Directive on Blood/Blood Products, if working in an INAB accredited laboratory discipline.
* As needed, take part in the laboratory team's training. Be a committed, professional, and on-time team player in the lab that encourages candid communication.
Requirements
* Possess membership or be eligible for membership of the Academy of Medical Laboratory Science (AMLS) or equivalent.
* Registration with CORU
* Minimum of 1 year in service training across all disciplines.
* Experience in Biochemistry is essential.
* Post qualification experience desirable.
* Have partaken in emergency on-call rotas.
