Software Engineer Internship
Location: Dublin (Remote)

What You'll Do
* Build beautiful, performant user experiences in React and contribute to a modern, component-driven front-end
* You'll support the development of The Solace embed and core platform, including:
* Building and refining frontend components for The Solace embed
* Implementing designs and UI flows from Figma or wireframes
* Supporting the rollout of new features to funeral director websites
* Improving existing frontend code and fixing UI bugs
* Helping maintain a consistent, accessible user experience
* Working closely with the lead product engineer and founder
This role is primarily frontend-focused, but you'll gain exposure to the entire tech stack You'll play a part in product decisions, working with real users, and production systems.

* A solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* An eye for layout, spacing, and usability
* Comfort working from designs and wireframes
* Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently once tasks are defined
* Interest in product, UX, or startups, with an emerging product mindset
* A pragmatic, ownership-driven approach to solving problems with care
* Compassion and empathy, we work on sensitive, human problems that carry real emotional weight
Nice to Have
* Demo projects, personal experiments, or coursework you're proud of (a GitHub profile, portfolio, or live demos are great)
* Experience working on side projects, hackathons, or in small / early-stage teams
