Follows batch ticket and other instructions to complete the production or rework process.
Stages, prepares, lifts, and loads raw materials and other components required for the production process; may also utilise a computerised, mechanical, or automatic process to lift and/or load materials.
Monitors and adjusts gauges, valves, switches, pumps, and other components according to production requirements; follows appropriate sampling techniques.
Lifts and prepares items required for the filling, labelling, packaging, and transporting of products.
Operates a variety of computerised, manual, and mechanical equipment to mix, fill, unload, label pack, and store work-in-progress and finished goods.
Ensures compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations; may require the employee to wear safety equipment or gear.
Completes appropriate paperwork and/or enters data regarding materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and other operations to ensure records and actions are accurate.
Assists with maintaining a clean & safe working environment & performs various 6S or housekeeping tasks.
Communicates with maintenance, quality control, warehousing, and other departments to maintain a safe and effective environment and to ensure quality products.
Forklift license for reach and counterbalance advantageous.
Experience in a commercial production environment desirable.
Working on your own initiative.
Good written and spoken English necessary.
