About the Role
As Senior Exams Assessment Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of examinations and assessments. Your primary location will be Dublin City, with easy access to public transport.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will report directly to the Head of Assessment and Examinations, overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Examinations Office. This includes coordinating examination schedules, administering the Exam Scheduler system, and managing the processing of results. You will also be the point of contact for complex operational queries, manage the exit award process, and support continuous improvements. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the exam's office Zendesk system, reporting, and all general administrative and ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of 3 years' experience in a third-level setting. In-depth knowledge of Marks and Standards for Academic Programmes is essential. You must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills, are necessary. Strong attention to detail, along with excellent communication, organizational, and complex administrative skills, are essential for this position.
