Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant (HCA) to provide high-quality, person-centred care to our clients. This role involves supporting clients with daily living activities, personal care, emotional well-being, and social engagement, helping them to live safely and comfortably.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
* Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids, ensuring safety and dignity.
* Support clients during meals, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
* Promote independence and assist with clients’ emotional, social, and recreational needs.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, including bedrooms and communal areas.
* Observe and report changes in clients’ health, or well-being to senior staff.
* Contribute to care plans and maintain accurate records.
* Uphold clients’ privacy, dignity, and rights at all times.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

* Minimum Experienced Required (Years): 1
* Minimum Qualification: Level 2 Certificate OR QQI Healthcare Modules
