Due to continued expansion, we are hiring an Assistant Project Manager for our Midlands-based projects.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, working on projects in sectors such as Pharma, Life Sciences, Data Centres, or Industrial, with strong knowledge of fit-outs on similar projects.
Key Requirements:
* Experienced construction professional capable of leading a team of engineers.
* Internal fit-out experience, ideally with clean room construction, but not essential.
* Familiar with BcAR and QA/QC procedures.
* Experience liaising with design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Project Manager and team by providing technical advice.
* Coordinate daily with project, design teams, and subcontractors.
* Verify civil engineering designs, models, and drawings.
* Implement QA procedures, including concrete checks, RFIs, and resolving technical issues.
* Help maintain safe working practices on site.
* Monitor materials, plant, and logistics.
* Maintain records and produce reports.
Minimum Requirements:
* Relevant third-level degree.
* 6+ years’ experience in a similar role.
* Experience with a main contractor.
* Proficient in GPS, robotic total stations, and levelling equipment.
* Strong IT skills, including AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
