HR Officer, based Belfast, Permanent Opportunity PurposeThis is an exciting role and will support the delivery of a comprehensive and professional HR service, working closely with Senior Management across a large, multi-site workforce, encompassing the full HR remit.ResponsibilitiesTo provide comprehensive HR support to business unit management teams on HR policies and proceduresTo support Managers in dealing with employee relations issues including, but not limited to, investigations, disciplinary, grievance, capability, flexible working, attendance management, and health and well-being issuesWork with departmental managers to positively advise on attrition trendsTo ensure contracts and right to work checks are completed following Company policies and proceduresManaging long term sickness cases across divisionsTo manage the full end to end recruitment process for various positions as required to attract the best talentAssisting with HR administrative support as requiredAny other duties relevant and related to the positionQualifications & ExperienceEssentialLevel 5 Associate CIPD or working towardsPossesses a genuine interest and thrive in being involved in a wide range of day-to-day HR issues at all levels of the organisationAbility to cope with a fast-paced environment, with the ability to demonstrate strong employee relations background and able to handle complex issuesUp to date knowledge of employment legislation, with the ability to respond to a range of HR queries and be able to give sound advice and guidance to ManagersExperience and capability working with Word, Excel and PowerPointThird level education, preferably in business or HRDesirableRelevant HR experience in retail and/or hospitalityExperience managing staff and ensuring department workloads are managed appropriately Personal AttributesHonesty and integrity with an appreciation of the importance of dealing with confidential information, possessing tact and diplomacyAbility to build strong, positive working relationships with all departmentsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with great attention to detail, possessing the ability to communicate effectively in all formsStrong time management and organisational skills and ability to operate under pressureAbility to solve problems and use own initiative to deliver solutionsAdditional InformationWhile the role is office based, working Monday to Friday office hours, there may be the need to work additional hours as required by the needs of the business.A full driving license will be required, as the Company has locations across Northern Ireland, there will be the requirement to attend meetings across Company premises.This role would be ideal for a Senior HR Administrator who is ready for their next career move to HR Officer level To apply, please reach out to me ASAP, this is an immediate Permanent HR opportunity
