The Ardilaun hotel is recruiting a Revenue Manager to join the team. This role focuses on maximizing room revenue through effective reservations management, digital marketing, and strategic distribution. You will work across multiple platforms, support the reservations function, and collaborate with the sales team to drive direct bookings.
Responsibilities
* Revenue & Distribution Management: Maximise occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR through strategic pricing and distribution. Manage OTA platforms, hotel website, channel manager, Rate Par, and Rate Wise. Track and report on revenue performance, booking trends, competitor activity, and ROI. Maintain accurate rate loading and mapping across systems (18+ months in advance). Drive direct bookings and minimise commission costs.
* Forecasting & Reporting: Create accurate weekly forecasts and competitor analysis reports. Support budget planning and track actual performance vs. targets. Participate in revenue meetings and HOD meetings.
* Reservations Support: Assist with reservations as needed and support front office during busy periods.
* Digital Marketing & Website Management: Collaborate with marketing and social teams to plan and deliver digital campaigns. Manage website content, SEO, special offers, and third-party listings. Monitor paid advertising and analyse campaign performance. Contribute to creative content, video, and graphics in line with brand.
* Email Marketing & Reputation: Plan and execute email campaigns aligned with guest journey and local events. Monitor online reviews and guest feedback to support reputation and upselling. Review weekly upsell reports and enhance guest experience through timely communication.
Requirements
* Previous experience in the same or similar role.
* Understanding of revenue management concepts and occupancy strategies.
* Experience managing OTA platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia).
* Strong analytical and reporting skills—able to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., SEO, email marketing) is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple systems and tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics preferred.
* Flexible and proactive mindset, with a drive to continuously improve results.
* Knowledge of the Irish hotel market is an advantage.
