Albany Beck is an award-winning consultancy specialising in Technology, Risk and Compliance primarily within Financial Services. We work with top tier Investment Banks, Asset Management firms, Hedge Funds and FinTechs.
We are currently working with a Global Banking Client client of ours and looking to bring on a KYC Maker to work with them in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform KYC due diligence on new and existing customers in line with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
* Review and verify customer documentation, including identification, proof of address, and business ownership details.
* Conduct risk assessments on customers and categorize them based on risk levels.
* Ensure timely completion of KYC reviews and periodic account updates.
* Identify discrepancies or red flags in customer documentation and escalate issues to the KYC Checker or Compliance team.
* Maintain accurate records of KYC files and ensure proper documentation is available for audits and regulatory reviews.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including Compliance, Legal, and Relationship Managers, to address KYC-related queries.
* Stay up to date with regulatory changes and best practices in KYC and anti-money laundering (AML) procedures.
* Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in KYC operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of KYC and AML regulations, including FATF, OFAC, FinCEN, and local regulatory frameworks.
* Technical Skills: Familiarity with KYC verification tools, databases, and compliance management systems.
* Certification in AML, Compliance, or KYC (e.g., CAMS, ICA) is a plus.
* Prior experience with enhanced due diligence (EDD) and transaction monitoring.
