Field Service Engineer
you will become part of the
Systems and Solutions Team
.
Working alongside the Team Leader Life Cycle Services, you will support engineering efforts for Emerson solutions, specifically DeltaV, covering automation hardware, maintenance, diagnostics, setup, commissioning, and project execution.
Act as the main point of contact for customers, delivering technical support, coordinating service contracts and projects, and advising on maintenance and configuration improvements to enhance performance and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Deliver advanced maintenance and technical support tailored to customer needs, ensuring reliable system performance.
Recommend product enhancements, system upgrades and health checks to optimize customer operations.
Resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with Emerson Customer Support and Product Engineering when needed.
Work closely with a team of skilled service engineers on maintenance activities and service projects.
Provide hands-on customer training on the application, operation and maintenance of Emerson's products.
Identify new service and product opportunities, contributing to business growth and customer success.
Support commissioning, start-up and service promotions in coordination with the sales team.
Visit customer locations as required, taking part in on-call schedules and verifying all documentation and reports adhere to Emerson's quality guidelines.

For This Role, You Will Need
Hold an Associate-level certification for all services performed on site, and a Professional-level certification in at least one area of expertise.
Understanding of DCS and PLC systems, such as Emerson's DeltaV or equivalent experience, coupled with knowledge of cGMP requirements.
In-depth knowledge and experience of automation and control systems within pharmaceutical process plants, typically with around four years' experience in related areas.
This role focuses on products and services in customer plants.
Travel to these sites and international locations for trainings is required as needed as well as on-call duties.
IE/EU/UK Driver's License essential.
