We are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is suited to someone who thrives on meeting customers, building strong relationships, and winning new business.
This position demands a strong commercial mindset, a passion for technology, and the ability to bridge customer needs with tailored solutions. Travel (mostly in Ireland) is a core part of the role, as you will be expected to spend significant time in the field meeting clients, qualifying opportunities, and securing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
· Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through site visits, networking, and customer engagement.
· Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers, acting as a technical and commercial partner.
· Work with internal engineering teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Build) to develop bespoke solutions tailored to customer needs.
· Conduct in-depth discussions with customers to fully understand their operational challenges and requirements.
· Qualify opportunities and ensure alignment with business capabilities and strategy.
· Prepare and deliver accurate, competitive proposals and present them directly to clients.
· Lead commercial negotiations and oversee smooth handovers into project delivery.
· Actively upsell and cross-sell additional solutions and services while on-site with customers.
· Maintain a strong presence in the market, representing the company at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
· Provide market feedback and insights to influence sales strategy
Qualifications & Experience:

· Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related field) or equivalent experience.
· 5+ years' experience in technical sales, ideally in automation, industrial systems, or a production environment.
· Demonstrated success in winning new business and achieving sales targets.
· Proven track record of direct customer engagement and external-facing sales activity
