Houseperson
Responsibilities
* Assist with preparing guestrooms to a high standard.
* Ensure public spaces are clean and well presented.
* Assist with evening housekeeping duties such as late stayover requests and converting beds.
* Collect waste and recycling from all public spaces.
* Deliver in-room amenities and linens to guests.
* Assist with Laundry duties when required.
* Respond to guest inquiries, requests and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
* Ensure all lost property items left in guest rooms or public spaces are properly recorded and stored.
* Takes personal responsibility for equipment, ensuring it is operated and maintained correctly.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products, and the correct handling procedures.
* Report any maintenance and/or health and safety issues.
* Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests.
* Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of our guests.
* Work alongside all other departments in a friendly and professional manner.
* Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Work Conditions
* Manual dexterity required to use cleaning apparatus and supplies.
* Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
* Regular physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting, crouching and kneeling.
