Vickerstock in partnership with a leading food manufacturing Company is currently looking for a Quality Leader - Nightshift - To drive food safety and quality standards as part of the Technical Excellence agenda. Working closely with the Production Stream to promote a food safety and quality culture. To manage the Quality Technologists at site and develop strong cross-functional relationships. Technical Strategy Develop technical excellence at all levels within operations, through a programme of training, coaching and mentoring to enable a high performance against Technical Standards. Support the activities that are defined within the Technical strategy, improvement in KPIs and non-conformances root cause analysis. Work cross functionally and build relationships to maximise performance. Ensure operational team has strong Technical knowledge on GMP, Allergen Control, Quality system procedures. Build a high performing team Build strong relationships with each team member. Train the team on OPEX tools systems and standards and ensure team have the correct resource and capability. Involve the team in priority problem solving activities and promote a culture of learning and development. Communicate regularly and ensure goals and manufacturing targets are clear through team forums and MySuccess. Reward both successes and ideal behaviours. Address any performance issues promptly and discretely. OPEX Improvement Collect and analyse data to understand metrics and where improvements can be made. Ensure standard work is adhered to using the layered confirmation process. To provide support in root cause analysis and continuous improvement processes. Deliver value for the business and for the customer To deliver the Quality agenda through the production teams ensuring that the customer gets the best quality product. To be the values champion and drive the cultural survey actions through the team. Ensure that necessary, training, coaching and support to enable the Production Stream to undertake routine factory-based food safety /quality standards inspections.
