Job Description for Professional Services IT Engineer:

Professional Services Engineers engage with customers to provide installation and migration services, handling installations effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent customer communication skills, and relevant IT support experience working in a similar MSP role.
The Professional Services Engineer will research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve system issues. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
Essential Qualifications, Training, and Experience:
* Minimum of a BSc (Hons) in IT or related field.
* Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or similar qualifications.
* Self-motivated and ambitious with strong technical acumen.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience working closely with clients in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team.
* Client/account management experience in the IT industry.
* Experience coordinating, implementing, and monitoring projects and processes.
* Ability to identify, assess, and develop activities for improvement.
* Flexibility, adaptability, and tolerance in changing environments; team-oriented.
* Full clean driving license (Category B).
* Fluent in English (C2 level, spoken and written).
* Specializing in Office 365, Firewall setup, VMware, Veeam, Hyper-V, Microsoft, Apple, Wireless Technologies, etc.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Microsoft Certifications.
Responsibilities:
* Manage escalations from Level 1, 2, and 3 Engineers, including ownership of major incidents, coordination with resolver groups and third parties, effective stakeholder communication, and post-incident reviews.
* Lead designated projects, including installation of server hardware, firewalls, core infrastructure, Wi-Fi, cloud solutions, and networks.
* Collaborate with Sales and Project Managers to develop project plans and technical pre-sales strategies.
* Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism at all times.
* Mentor Level 1, 2, and 3 Engineers, promoting a culture of learning and customer focus.
* Build and maintain proactive, positive relationships with clients.
* Support customers with hardware and software issues onsite or remotely.
* Travel to client sites for installations and repairs as needed.
* Continuously learn new technologies and identify training needs.
