Are you an ambitious, self-driven business development professional ready to build your portfolio under the Security in Shredding brand? We are currently looking for a Business Development Consultant to join our growing team within the business-to-business service sector in Ireland.
You will operate Nationwide developing the business.
We are looking for a professional negotiator who can establish relationships, develop current business relationships, qualify leads, complete site visits, and close the deal.
We provide Confidential Shredding Services to businesses throughout Ireland in addition to Document Scanning Services and Commercial Recycling Services.
The Role As a Business Development Consultant, you'll be instrumental in helping businesses ensure their data, and materials are securely protected, their business is in Data Protection Compliance, and they can focus on operations and grow.
Your key responsibilities will include: Building and nurturing relationships with business clients, genuinely understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
Delivering compelling sales presentations and service/product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing just how reliable and relatable we are.
Closing deals and continuously expanding your customer base, which directly translates into additional income from every new account you bring on board.
Representing Security in Shredding at industry events and conferences, growing your professional network and strengthening our brand presence.
Proactively managing your sales pipeline and focusing on building long-term relationships to maximise your earnings.
Manage service installations and setups for clients completing service reviews with clients and management.
Deliver equipment to client sites.
Liaise with and support service engineers around service deliveries and client requirements/feedback.
Achieving or exceeding your Service sales and Margin targets consistently.
Maximising potential sales opportunities by identifying the key target market sectors and key decision makers (Healthcare, Hospitality, pharmaceutical, commercial, education, Government) devising with management and executing a strategy for success.
Exercise your commercial acumen to ensure we provide viable solutions to our customers needs whilst achieving or exceeding our target margins.
Continuously educate yourself on the products and services we offer to ensure you personally align with our values Develop your knowledge of our competitors in your sector enabling you to identify and sell our competitive advantage.
Ensure that all estimated projects assigned to you are followed up professionally resulting in a high yield of orders.
Work closely and collaborate with the company manager ensuring all cross-selling opportunities are maximised and we consistently meet/exceed our monthly and yearly sales objectives.
The ideal candidate will be fully conversant with Microsoft Office including Outlook, word, Excel and power-point.
What We're Looking For: Experience (a plus, not a requirement): 2+ years of sales experience, especially in field sales or a B2 B environment.
Experience in the recycling, purchasing, and/or facility management sectors is a plus, but not a requirement.
Skills and Competencies: The ideal candidate will stand out with: Strong communication and presentation skills, with a skill for connecting with business owners and building relationships that result in the purchase of Security in Shredding solutions.
Excellent closing abilities, consistently meeting and exceeding your sales targets.

Working Conditions: Work Hours: Enjoy flexible working hours, giving control over your schedule.
Location: This is a field-based role, covering Ireland, and Office based in Security in Shredding HQ.
