Role Description
The Senior Mechanical Estimator is a full-time, on-site position based in Dublin.
The responsibilities include preparing cost estimates for mechanical systems and projects, analyzing blueprints and proposals, collaborating with project teams to develop accurate forecasts, and assessing potential risks to ensure successful bid submissions.
The Senior Mechanical Estimator will work closely with stakeholders, leveraging expertise in mechanical systems, materials, labor, and resources to provide data-driven estimates and support project decision-making processes.
Qualifications
Proficient in mechanical estimation, cost analysis, and project forecasting, including an understanding of materials, labor, and equipment costs.
Experience interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for mechanical systems and projects.
Proficiency in relevant estimation and project management software, with strong computer skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, with strong verbal and written skills.
Previous experience in construction or engineering industries, particularly in industrial, data center, or infrastructure projects, is an asset.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.
