About the Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Deliver high-quality, person-centred care according to residents' care plans.
2. Understand residents' needs and provide companionship.
3. Assist with mobility and personal hygiene, ensuring dignity.
4. Support residents with eating, drinking, and achieving comfort.
5. Participate in and help organise social activities.
6. Maintain effective communication with families and colleagues.
7. Adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
Contract & Benefits
8. Type : Full-time, permanent
9. Shifts : Day and night (flexibility required)
10. Salary : €13.50 - €14.50 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements :
18. Must possess EU citizenship
19. QQI Level 5 or equivalent i.e. Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, Nurse Assistant, Social Care, Special Needs, Nursing Care Technician, Technician in Care for People, Support Worker, Psychology, and/or Nurse qualifications
20. Experience in elderly care is desirable
21. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
22. Ability to follow instructions and procedures
23. Excellent organisational and observation skills
24. A professional, caring, and compassionate nature
25. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
