We are looking to recruit a Multi‑skilled Technical Facilities Maintenance Technician in Dungarvan Co. Waterford. This is a permanent position that reports directly to the onsite manager and requires a trade electrician with multi‑skilled attributes. Training can also be offered to the correct candidate.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
To undertake maintenance repairs, installation or servicing work as detailed by Aramark/client specification.
To comply with the Company’s procedures when working on a client’s premises.
To observe and comply with all working practices and ensure compliance with the appropriate health & safety statutory requirements at all times.
To maintain all Company‑issued equipment in a clean, serviceable, presentable and safe manner.
To ensure all Company paperwork is completed accurately and legibly.
To maintain a professional manner at all times and develop good working relationships with clients and other staff members.
To locate and purchase items of equipment to facilitate speedy and effective service to our clients.
To ensure all professional qualifications required to undertake duties are up to date.
To support the helpdesk by effective communication and promote efficiency.
To prepare permits and supervise sub‑contractors carrying out work on site.
To ensure the work area is maintained in a clean and tidy state and dispose of all waste products suitably and in line with company procedures.
Key requirements for the role:
Must be qualified to the Electrical trade with up‑skilling on Mech/AC Systems or Air Conditioning or Senior Mechanical with good working Electrical knowledge (not a pre‑requisite but desirable).
Electrical trade background with strong evidence of multi‑skilled FM maintenance delivery.
Experience in BMS and control systems is an advantage.
Use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential.
Flexibility for possible weekend working on an ad‑hoc basis.
Clean Driving Licence required.
